Love’s Travel Stops Opens Its 400th Dog Park

Travel center chain also adds new Truck Care location

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has opened its 400th dog park. The travel center chain began adding dog parks to locations in late 2018, with its most recent location opening in Rural Hall, North Carolina.

  • Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is No. 16 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

The fully fenced yards are about 50 by 100 feet with turf, grass and gravel surfaces, as well as pet waste stations with bags. Many parks have separate areas for large- and small-breed dogs.  

The dog parks are open 24/7. Some Love’s locations also offer dog food, cat food, kitty litter, dog treats, leashes and food bowls.

New Love’s Truck Care Opens

Love’s opened a new Love’s Truck Care location for professional drivers in Salinas, California. Love’s Truck Care and Speedco also upgraded five existing locations, two of which now have added truck wash services in Sidney, Ohio and Columbia, Tennessee.

The investments add five service bays, four truck wash bays and three new service trucks to Love’s nationwide maintenance network.

The new and remodeled locations are next to Love’s Travel Stops in:

  • Salinas, California
  • Calvert City, Kentucky
  • Wells, Nevada
  • Sidney, Ohio
  • Columbia, Tennessee
  • Ranger, Texas

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores operates 642 locations in 42 states.
