Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores opened new travel stops in Wichita, Kansas, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in late October. With the opening of these new stores, Love’s surpassed 650 total stores.

The Oklahoma City-based chain is celebrating 60 years in business in 2024.

The Wichita travel stop, located off Interstate 135 at 1504 E. 21st St., is one of Love’s largest stores to date at 12,000 square feet. It helps meet a need for truck parking and other professional driver services in the Wichita metro area, Love’s said. It has 122 truck parking spaces and a Speedco truck maintenance shop with truck wash services, set to open in November.

  • Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is No. 16 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

The travel stop has an Arby’s and Dunkin’ Donuts, in addition to a Love’s Fresh Kitchen.

The Hattiesburg travel stop is off Interstate 59 and Highway 98 at 283 Ira Hudson Road. It adds 84 truck parking spaces, and pro driver services, like the Wichita location. It is more than 10,000 square feet in size. Located along a travel corridor to the Gulf Coast and other recreational areas, the Hattiesburg store is a strategic addition for Love’s growing RV network, with six RV hookups, RV dump service, private showers, Wi-Fi and more, the company said. The location has Love’s Fresh Kitchen and an Arby’s restaurant.

Love’s donated $5,000 each to Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center in Wichita and United Way of Southeast Mississippi in Hattiesburg for the grand openings.
