New President at Enodis USA

Weaks, Fink in new roles

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Enodis PLC has appointed Jim Weaks as president of Enodis USA, New Port Richey, Fla., effective July 1.

In his new role, Weaks will have responsibility for marketing, sales and service support for all Enodis brands in the United States. Weaks will report directly to David McCulloch, CEO of London-based Enodis PLC.

Weaks has more than 28 years of experience in the foodservice industry. He has recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Scotsman Ice Systems, Chicago. Prior to that, he held [image-nocss] various management positions in sales and marketing at Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex and Hobart Corp.

The company also recently appointed Kevin Fink as president of Ice O-Matic, Denver. In his new role, Fink brings a strong background in multi-brand sales, service and marketing. He will report to Randy Rossi, president of the Enodis North American Ice Group.

Fink has over 18 years of experience in the commercial food equipment industry. He has most recently served as president of Enodis USA, where he led the launch of new multi-brand programs, establishment of the Enodis STAR service and implementation of transformational sales-channel initiatives in the United States. He has also held positions as commercial president for the Enodis Foodservice Group, and as vice president of marketing at Frymaster.

Ice O-Matic manufactures, distributes and supplies a variety of ice-related products, including cubers, flakers, storage bins, dispensers and water filters. Since 1952, Ice O-Matic has introduced new technology to ice making, including AgION Antimicrobial Compound in the ICE Series cube ice makers.

In other company news, two North American Enodis companies received awards for outstanding customer service and performance. Frymaster was named Outstanding Equipment Supplier by SEFA (Supply & Equipment Foodservice Alliance) at the organization's recent awards program. SEFA recognized Frymaster for its commitment to training of SEFA members, marketing support and a 30% increase in sales to SEFA members.

And Garland Canada was recognized for outstanding performance by A&W, receiving the company's 2004 Supplier Award.

Enodis PLC is focused on the design, manufacture and supply of food equipment.
