Parker’s Kitchen hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 17, for its new convenience store in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

The new store, located at 3018 S. Live Oak Drive, features Parker’s “made-from-scratch” food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and other convenience items, including a hot bar with electronic kiosk ordering.

“We appreciate the opportunity to elevate the convenience store experience throughout the metro Charleston area and to be a great community partner right here in Berkeley County,” said Parker’s Kitchen founder and CEO Greg Parker

At the ceremony, Parker’s presented an $80,000 round-up donation check to Roper St. Francis Foundation to expand access to healthcare in Charleston. The retailer also presented a $32,000 donation to Berkeley County School District through its fueling the community charitable giving program.

The Savannah, Georgia-based retailer now operates 96 convenience stores. Parker’s said it plans to open 100 new stores over the next five years in new and existing markets, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to Jacksonville, Florida.
