Parker’s Kitchen kicked off its 50th anniversary celebration Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of its newest store in Port Wentworth, Georgia.

With 6,065 square feet of retail space, the company’s new store at 132 Highway 30 is the first “PK2” prototype, which the company said offers a larger store design with an angled food area, bigger beer cave and a deeper store footprint.

“We’re thrilled to kick off our 50th anniversary year in Port Wentworth and to host our first new store ribbon cutting of 2026 right here in Chatham County,” said Greg Parker, Parker’s Kitchen founder and executive chairman.

  • Parker's Kitchen is No. 73 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

The retailer also said this is the first location to offer the company’s made-to-order beverage program in partnership with technology and beverage company Botrista, San Francisco, California.

Customers can choose from iced and frozen coffees, smoothies, boba chillers and energy drinks with a variety of flavors and add-ons, Parker’s said.

At the event, Parker’s Kitchen presented a $100,000 Fueling the Community donation to Savannah-Chatham County Public School. The retailer said it has donated more than $3 million to support public and private schools through the Fueling the Community program.

Parker’s Kitchen operates 103 stores across Georgia and South Carolina and employs more than 1,800 team members. The c-store retailer is currently expanding into new markets, including Jacksonville, Florida, and Columbia, South Carolina. The company said it plans to open 17 new stores in 2026.
