Savannah, Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen has promoted John Rudolfs to co-CEO and John Rhine to chief financial officer, effective immediately, the convenience-store chain said Friday. Rudolfs shares the c-store retailer’s CEO duties with Brandon Hofmann, who was named CEO in March.

“As we continue to grow, we’re making strategic adjustments to our senior leadership team that are designed to help us work even more collaboratively,” said Parker’s Kitchen founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. “As a result, it’s my pleasure to announce two well-deserved promotions that have been unanimously recommended by the Parker’s Kitchen Board of Directors and are effective immediately."

Rudolfs (pictured left) joined Parker’s Kitchen in 2021 as the chief development officer and was named president and CFO earlier this year. A former U.S. Navy officer, Rudolfs previously served as chief development officer for MAPCO, Lawrenceville, Georgia, and executive vice president for Murphy Oil Corp./Murphy USA, El Dorado, Arkansas, before joining the Parker’s Kitchen team.

“Together, Brandon and John will be focused on ensuring excellence in everything we do, from award-winning foodservice to outstanding customer service,” Parker said. “I look forward to seeing the impressive results that will come from this extraordinary leadership model.”

Parker had been CEO for nearly 50 years before passing the reigns to Hofmann in March.

As the company’s new CFO, Rhine (pictured right) will lead the c-store retailer’s financial strategy and execution. He previously helped secure a $1.1 billion loan to finance the convenience store leader’s ambitious growth plans, the company said in a statement.

Rhine joined Parker’s in 2020 as a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) analyst. A U.S. Army veteran and former sergeant and squad leader with the U.S. Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Rhine has defined himself as a “talented data-driven, team-focused leader at Parker’s Kitchen,” the company said in a statement.

  • Parker's Kitchen is No. 73 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.
