WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek, a privately-owned, family-operated chain of more than 100 retail convenience food store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, announced yesterday the grand opening of its newest location, in Hillsborough, N.J. This new location will fully incorporate Quick Chek 's recently unveiled new brand.
The new, 5,000-square-foot store will open to the public Tuesday, July 1, at 5:00 a.m., following a celebratory Quick Chek Coffee Toast ceremony Monday, June 30, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.. Local officials and community members will gather with [image-nocss] Quick Chek representatives to grind, brew and pour the very first cup of Quick Chek 's coffee at the new location.
Quick Chek 's coffee, which comes with a 20-minute freshness guarantee and is made from a select blend of beans, is also the official coffee of the New Jersey Devils hockey team.
Managed by Store Leader Liz Lopez, Quick Chek 's new Hillsborough location will include a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh everyday, a no-fee ATM center and 20 fueling stations.
And, during its first 30 days of operation, from July 1 to August 1, Quick Chek will thank the community for its warm welcome to Hillsborough by donating 25 cents to the Hillsborough Rescue Squad for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold.
In other company news, the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, in association with PNC Bank, will be held at the Solberg Airport in Readington, N.J., July 25-27. The festival is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America, the retailer said. Highlights will include twice daily mass ascensions of up to 125 special shape and sport air balloons, headlining concerts, family entertainment, crafters and vendors, food, fireworks, a balloon glow and more.
