QuickChek is partnering with New York Giants player Kayvon Thibodeaux on a two-year brand ambassadorship, the first of its kind with a pro athlete for the Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based convenience-store chain.
As a brand ambassador, the linebacker will “show fans and followers how he gets into the game with QuickChek by highlighting fresh convenience at great prices, and the ease of ordering delivery through the QuickChek app,” said the c-store chain, which last year became the official sub of the New York Giants.
Thibodeaux was the Giants’ first pick of the 2022 draft.
“Follow along with QuickChek on Facebook, Instagram and X to see how Kayvon and members can ‘go for more’ with QC Rewards through customizable menu items, points on purchases, order-ahead-and-pay-ahead capabilities, and ordering delivery without having to exit the app,” QuickChek said. “Quality ingredients and made-to-order options allow even the most health-conscious customers to customize menu items quickly to curb their appetites.”
QuickChek is owned by Murphy USA, No. 4 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.
Blake Segal, senior vice president and head of QuickChek, said, “Long before he stepped into the Giants’ training facility, Kayvon has shown a work ethic and drive to be better than yesterday. Outside of football, he mentors and empowers underserved youth to achieve more through his Jream Foundation, embodying one of QuickChek’s own philanthropic pillars. Along with the value of recognition his partnership will bring QuickChek, it will further amplify our relationship with the New York Giants as the team's official sub.”
