QuikTrip plans to begin construction this summer on a store featuring the chain’s fourth-generation format, which includes an updated layout and design.

The nearly 6,400-square-foot store will be located at 9507 Watson Road in Crestwood, Missouri, on a stand-alone, 2-acre lot, Aisha Jefferson, spokesperson for Tulsa, Oklahoma-based QuikTrip, told CSP Daily News.

Key features include a glass vestibule, expanded storefront windows and an additional 1,000 square feet, primarily dedicated to improved team member work areas, Jefferson said.

“The layout also doubles kitchen capacity and adds a dedicated ordering and pickup area to support QT Kitchens’ growing fresh food program,” she said.

To streamline building timelines and improve energy efficiency, the store will use modular insulated panel construction, Jefferson said.

“Existing stores will continue to serve their communities, and the new design allows the company to test additional features as it grows,” she said.

The Missouri location is part of the Crestwood Crossing redevelopment of the 47-acre former Crestwood Plaza mall, according to the city.

QuikTrip continues to expand outside of Missouri, too. In 2025, it opened its newest travel center in Daleville, Indiana, its first location in the state.

QuikTrip is a privately held company. Founded in 1958, the chain has grown to a more than $11 billion company with more than 31,000 employees.
