QuikTrip is entering Utah.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based convenience-store retailer has “secured locations in Utah and anticipates opening in summer 2026,” Aisha Jefferson, the convenience-store chain’s corporate communications manager, told CSP. “However, we are currently unable to disclose the specific locations.”

The Beehive State would bring the retailer’s state count to 20.

Since the beginning of 2025, QuikTrip has expanded its store unit growth with openings nationwide, including the Midwest. The retailer opened its 15th location in Illinois on Jan. 10. The travel center is located at 2202 W. Market St., west of Interstate 55 and Interstate 74 at Exit 160 in Bloomington. And on Jan. 6, the c-store chain opened the doors of its newest location in the Houston suburb of Conroe, Texas, at 270 FM 1488, just west of Interstate 45.

  • QuikTrip is No. 9 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

Founded in 1958, QuikTrip, has grown to a more than $11 billion company with more than 1,100 convenience stores in 19 states.
