QuikTrip is further expanding its footprint in Kentucky.

Construction is underway at two new sites in the state: 5116 Cairo Road in Paducah and 8404 National Turnpike in Louisville, Aisha Jefferson, spokesperson for Tulsa, Oklahoma-based QuikTrip, told CSP Daily News Friday.

“The Paducah store is planned to open this spring, with the Louisville location expected to follow later in the summer,” Jefferson said.

QuikTrip opened its first Kentucky location in June of 2025. Jefferson also confirmed with CSP that another location is slated for Florence in the northern part of the state.

“Based on the current order of development, the Florence site would represent our fourth Kentucky location,” she said.

The 8,200-square-foot stores in Paducah and Louisville will include the chain’s full-service QT Kitchen. The foodservice offer includes grab-and-go meals and snacks, hot dogs and made-to-order items, she said.

The new stores will also feature expanded beverage stations, a modern layout and fueling capacity to service 16 vehicles for gas along with six diesel bays for trucks. Each store is expected to employ about 25 people.

The chain will also soon open new stores with the chain’s fourth-generation format, which includes an updated layout and design. The first four stores with the new format are expected to open this spring in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Joplin, Missouri; Wichita, Kansas; and Tulsa, Oklahoma. This summer, the chain plans to begin construction on another store with the fourth-generation format in Crestwood, Missouri. The nearly 6,400-square-foot store will be located at 9507 Watson Road.

QuikTrip owns more than 1,100 stores in 21 states. Founded in 1958, QuikTrip is a privately held company with more than 31,000 employees and annual revenue exceeding $11 billion.
