QuikTrip will open its first store in the state of Ohio on Thursday.
The new QuikTrip travel center will be in the city of Dayton at 2121 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., just west of Interstate 75 near the intersection of Cincinnati Street.
“We are excited to bring QuikTrip’s signature commitment to quality and efficient service to the great state of Ohio,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our travel center model will offer a clean and friendly stop for the residents of Dayton as well as the many travelers driving throughout the Miami Valley.”
The new location features a more spacious store design than a traditional QuikTrip and can service 16 cars for gas and six diesel bays for trucks. The store will feature a full-service kitchen with fresh, made-to-order meals and grab-and-go options.
With the opening of the Dayton travel center, QuikTrip now operates convenience stores in 18 states.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based retailer is also expanding in other parts of the the Midwest. Three more locations under construction and scheduled to open this year, include new stores in University Park, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago; Romeoville, Illinois, a southwestern suburb of Chicago; and Bloomington, located in central Illinois.
