QuikTrip opened a new travel center in Ohio on Thursday. The Jeffersonville store is the convenience-store chain’s third location in the state, joining existing travel centers in Dayton and West Chester.
The travel center features a more spacious store design than a traditional QuikTrip and can service 16 cars for gas and five diesel bays for trucks.
“Jeffersonville is a natural fit for QuikTrip, and we’re proud to be opening our doors here,” Aisha Jefferson, QuikTrip corporate communications manager, said. “We’re more than a convenience store—we’re a place that people can count on for good food, friendly service and a trusted stop on the road. We look forward to serving this community and those passing through.”
The store features a full-service kitchen with fresh, made-to-order meals and grab-and-go options, including QuikTrip’s signature pizza by the slice and roller grill items. The store offers QuikTrip’s on-tap coffee system, with 12 beverage options, including hot and iced lattes made with real milk and freshly ground coffee beans.
QuikTrip’s new location will bring around 24 new jobs to the area, the company said.
The store is located near Interstate 71 at the Old U.S. 35 interchange at 6571 Garringer-Edgefield Road.
QuikTrip is also growing in the state of Texas. The retailer opened three new locations in the metropolitan Houston market.
