RaceTrac has hired a new chief information officer. Ameet Shetty started with Atlanta-based RaceTrac Oct. 20, the convenience-store chain told CSP Daily News

Shetty brings more than 29 years of finance and technology experience, including 15 years leading enterprise technology strategies across the financial services, retail and consumer goods industries. Shetty most recently worked at Equifax, where he transformed the company’s data governance, quality and cloud-native architecture approach, according to RaceTrac. Previously, he held positions with Pilot Flying J, McDonald’s, SunTrust and Fifth Third Bank.

  • RaceTrac is No. 17 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

As RaceTrac’s CIO, Shetty will drive innovation and advance the company's business goals by leveraging his expertise in data, analytics and emerging technologies, the company said. He will help guide RaceTrac through its next era of innovation, the company said, with a focus on enterprise-wide technology vision, cybersecurity, data strategy and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption.
