RaceTrac Opens Travel Center in Vero Beach, Florida

The location will serve fleet drivers and construction vehicles as well as motorists

Convenience-store chain RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. opened its newest travel center in Vero Beach, Florida, last week.

The travel center is located at 8990 20th Street in the West Vero Corridor on Highway 60, near I-95. The more than 8,000-square-foot store will serve motorists, as well as small- to mid-size fleet drivers and construction vehicles with an added high-flow diesel canopy and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) options at the pump.

The travel center features an extended canopy, overnight truck parking and CAT scales.  RaceTrac’s new travel center also includes a large outdoor patio as well as a clean, well-lit parking lot, the Atlanta-based chain said.

Inside the travel center, guests can choose from a variety of on-the-go food and beverage offerings that include:

  • Six blends of freshly ground and brewed “Crazy Good Coffee,” with creamers, sweeteners and toppings.
  • Grab-and-go pizza and sandwiches.
  • Whole and cut fruit and salads.
  • Swirl World frozen treat station with a variety of frozen yogurts, sorbets and toppings.

Looking to increase food safety across its 580 locations, RaceTrac has implementedan automated temperature monitoring solution from Disruptive Technologies.
