Rutter’s opened its 93rd location on Tuesday in Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania—its first of 2026. The store features Rutter’s 1747 Bar & Lounge, beer and wine to go, video gaming terminals, fuel and foodservice.

  • Rutter’s is No. 79 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Rutter’s 1747 Bar & Lounge at the Ruffs Dale location has beer, wine and signature cocktails, along with a selection of food offerings. Designed as a sports bar, the space includes a TV display and multiple screens throughout.

The convenience-store chain location is modeled similarly to the Milton, Pennsylvania, location, its first bar and lounge concept, which won Best Foodvenience Store in the World award in 2025 from media company Global Convenience.

The new store is located at 641 Waltz Mill Road in Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, off Exit 74 of Route 70. It’s open 24 hours a day.

The new Rutter’s has more than 55 employees, with starting wages beginning at $18 per hour.

In celebration of the new store opening, Rutter’s Children’s Charities will donate $1,000 each to Hunker Volunteer Fire Department, 4-H Youth Program of Westmoreland County and the Westmoreland County Food Bank.

York, Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s operates 93 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
