Rutter's Names VP of Foodservice

Matlock a c-store industry veteran

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has appointed Brian Matlock as vice president of foodservice for the York, Pa.-based convenience store chain.

Matlock is a veteran of the convenience industry. Prior to joining Rutter's, he was category manager for fresh foods and proprietary beverages at Worsley Cos., Wilmington, N.C., which operates stores in North Carolina and South Carolina.

In 2004, he founded Cafeoro.com, an Internet-based coffee roaster and retailer.

From 1997 to 2004, Matlock worked in logistics, [image-nocss] operations and merchandising for 7-Eleven Inc., most recently serving as merchandising manager of fresh foods and proprietary beverages for 820 stores in the Northeast.

Rutter's Farm Stores operates 50 locations in York, Adams, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.
