Sheetz is looking to hire 1,350 employees across its seven-state footprint. To reach its goal, the convenience-store chain will host hiring events and on-the-spot interviews at all locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT on March 26.

The Altoona, Pennsylvania-based retailer, which has 310 Pennsylvania locations, is looking to hire more than 440 employees in its home state.

“Sheetz is focused on hiring for key roles across its stores, including store team members, supervisors and assistant managers,” the company said in a statement.

Those interested in attending a hiring event will need to apply for a store position online at jobs.sheetz.com. Once inside the store, individuals will then need to check in at the cash register by scanning a QR code that Sheetz provides.

Sheetz has been named a 100 Best Company to Work For for nine straight years by Fortune and Great Places to Work. The retailer said it offers competitive pay and benefits packages to all employees, including medical, vision and dental insurance. The c-store chain also said it offers an employee stock ownership plan, tuition reimbursement, opportunities for advancement and more.

  • Sheetz is No. 13 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Established in 1952, Sheetz operates more than 760 stores across Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.
