Convenience stores aren’t just for buying snacks and fuel anymore. Sheetz kicked off its new live entertainment series—or Sheetzertainment—with a concert from The All-American Rejects on Friday.

The performance was part of the pop-punk band’s House Party Tour, known for popping up in unexpected places throughout the country, and took place in the parking lot of a Sheetz outside of Pittsburgh.

Tickets for the show, which started at 8 p.m. at the store at 5554 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, dropped two hours before showtime, Sheetz said Wednesday.

In addition to the surprise stop, Sheetz also announced it was the official partner for the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, featuring The All-American Rejects. Through the partnership, at Sheetz locations, fans will be able to see behind-the-scenes content and surprise moments filmed by the band throughout the duration of the tour, Sheetz said.

Sheetz also said the concert kicked off its Sheetzertainment series. It will continue delivering a full lineup of “live shows, unique activations and wild collaborations” throughout its footprint, the Altoona, Pennsylvania-based retailer said.

In July, Sheetz held a promotion with water brand Liquid Death where made-to-order sandwiches were sliced with a chainsaw

“Chainsaws, sandwiches, surprise concerts and iconic bands—that’s just a regular month at Sheetz,” said Ryan Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing and supply chain. “We’re not just a convenience store that provides flavor-packed experiences. We’re your front-row ticket to unforgettable entertainment and the party is just getting started.”

The next concert will take place on Aug. 23 in Pittsburgh. Sheetz is partnering with Sofar Sounds, a company known for transforming everyday spaces into intimate live music venues, to feature three rising local artists. More details will be announced soon, Sheetz said.

Sheetz had 770 convenience stores as of Jan. 1. It has recently expanded in Michigan
