United Dairy Farmers names new CFO

Justin Jefferson has been promoted to chief financial officer of ice cream and convenience-store chain United Dairy Farmers (UDF), according to his LinkedIn page. 

Jefferson assumed the role in June, following the retirement of Darryl Neltner, who served as CFO from May of 1999 to June of this year, according to Neltner’s LinkedIn page.

Jefferson has been with the Cincinnati-based c-store chain since March of 2019. Before his promotion, Jefferson was retail controller for the company.

Prior to UDF, Jefferson served as vice president and corporate controller for fashion accessory company Totes Isotoner. He also served as division controller for LCA-Vision Inc., a laser vision correction company.

Founded more than 80 years ago, UDF is a privately owned, regional dairy-based c-store chain that specializes in hand-dipped ice cream, which it crafts into sundaes, ice cream floats and sodas, shakes and malts. As of Jan. 1, the c-store chain has 174 stores.
