WAWA, Pa. —Wawa Inc. is launching its annual hiring campaign. Over the next three months, the convenience-store chain will hire about 4,000 associate- and management-level positions.

All 840 Wawa locations will have positions available, and some will host hiring events March 27 and April 10. At the events, attendees can participate in brief first interviews and learn more about opportunities with the chain. Participating stores will post signs.

“At Wawa, part of our commitment to fulfilling lives means adding jobs for new associates, while also providing advancement opportunities for the more than 33,000 Wawa associates who are part of our team,” said Elizabeth Moore, manager of talent acquisition and diversity for Wawa.  “That’s why we’re thrilled to kick off this year’s spring hiring campaign and add a number of new members to our growing Wawa family. As we look to fill these positions with people who have a strong passion for serving others, we’re looking for individuals who want to join our team for the busy summer season as well those who might be interested in the start of a fulfilling career at Wawa.”

New hires will be able to take advantage of health benefits, flexible schedules and the chain’s employee stock ownership plan. Wawa is 40% owned by associates, with about 13,000 team members participating in the program.
