
Wawa will open its first convenience store in Tennessee, in Clarksville, on June 18, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Wawa in August 2025 began construction on its first Tennessee convenience stores in Clarksville and in Murfreesboro, CSP reported last year.

“It’s official! Wawa is proud to be expanding to the middle Tennessee market,” Joe Collins, director of store operations for Wawa, said at the time. “We are thrilled to continue growing in new markets to provide the community with our one-of-a-kind offer and commitment to supporting the community. We are excited to announce our plans and officially start construction on our stores and look forward to our first grand openings to begin serving the community in 2026.”
Wawa’s plans for the market include six new Wawa stores to open in 2026 and up to 50 stores over the next 10 years, CSP reported last year.
Wawa has about 1,200 locations.
