In 2025, Wills Group announced $1.2 million in charitable giving, addressing food insecurity, enhancing community spaces and promoting water conservation projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. The funding and volunteer hours benefited 52 nonprofit organizations, according to a company report.
One of its efforts was the formal re-launch of its “Reimaging Outdoor Spaces” program. Last year, the company completed work on its third public space, the Folk Memorial Park in Newark, Delaware, which included a food bank and walking path. In a separate project, the company supported work at the Phoenix Run Park in La Plata, Maryland, which included improvements to its basketball courts, walking paths and seating areas.

Through its “Nourishing Children and Families” program, the company partnered with regional food banks—such as the Capital Area Food Bank and Maryland Food Bank—to increase access to nutritious meals. With a planned Series 3 c-store expansion into North Carolina in 2026, Wills Group and Dash In awarded a $50,000 grant to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina, to support emergency flood relief efforts following devastating hurricanes. The grant helps distribute 350,000 pounds of food to families across 14 counties affected by storm damage and power outages.
Then with its “Advancing Waterways and Watersheds” program, the company supported environmental conservation efforts, most notably in the Chesapeake Bay. Through this program, employees and volunteers participate in shoreline cleanups, removing litter from areas surrounding the Chesapeake Baysox stadium and the Patuxent River in Bowie, Maryland. The work helps prevent debris from entering the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
