A Ripon, Wisconsin, woman is riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle to every Kwik Trip and Kwik Star convenience store, having left on May 7 and expecting to finish on May 17.

Why is she visiting all of the 852 stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan? “Why not?” That’s why Whit Meza says she’s on this journey, riding about 14 hours and stopping at an average of 77 stores daily for 11 straight days.

I don’t know if I have a method to my madness,” Meza said. “I live in central Wisconsin, so I’m kind of doing a loop back around. And most of my hometown area is on the east side of Wisconsin. Those are what I’m familiar with and comfortable with. I know each of those spots. So, I’m thinking this is a good start.”

Meza started her trip at store No. 778 in Ripon and plans to make her final stop at store No. 1209 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Meza two passions are endurance motorcycle riding and Kwik Trip, and she is combining the two for the 7,300-mile ride. When she shared her plan with her husband, Meza said he told her to go for it. “He kind of thought about it for a second and was like, OK, that makes sense,” she said. “Go ahead. You got this.”

John McHugh, director of public relations at La Crosse, Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip, said, “At Kwik Trip, we are delighted that one of our loyal guests loves us so much to make a journey visiting every single one of our stores.”

Meza, a wedding photographer, is documenting her journey by taking pictures of her sales receipt at every stop. In addition to fueling up her Harley Davidson Pan America Special, she plans to buy all her meals and snacks at Kwik Trips. The mother of two says her kids are also Kwik Trip fans—and didn’t tell them about her meal plan.

“I think they are going to be a little jealous of me when they find out,” Meza said.

Meza’s is chronicling her journey at @whitmeza and on Kwik Trip’s social media pages, @kwiktrip.
