Gauthier's path to the chairmanship has been marked by extensive participation in NACS leadership programs, including NACS Women's Leadership Program, NACS Financial Leadership Program, NACS Executive Leadership Program, and Masters of Convenience recognition.

This comprehensive leadership development culminated in her 2021 recognition as a "Master of Convenience" by NACS, highlighting her commitment to leadership and learning in the convenience store industry.

Throughout her career, Gauthier has been recognized for her innovative approaches to convenience-store operations. Beyond her company leadership, Gauthier has been an active participant in industry initiatives, including the Convenience Leaders Vision Group (CLVG), where she contributes to discussions on academic partnerships, EV charging, workforce management and AI implementation.

As NACS chairman, Gauthier will lead the NACS Executive Committee, which provides strategic direction and financial oversight to the association.
