For three days in February, more than 500 retailers and suppliers converged in Phoenix for Convenience Retailing University (CRU). They networked. They learned multiple lessons over dozens of hours of breakouts and general sessions. They wrote poetry. They played guitar, did stand-up comedy and danced at the first “CRU’s Got Talent” extravaganza. They were serenaded by “American Idol” finalist Scott MacIntyre.
