PORTLAND, Ore. Lazarus Naturals recently released its first-ever edible product, cannabidiol (CBD) fruit tarts.

These fruit tarts are the latest in a wave of new products companies are releasing in this evolving market.

The fruit tarts are naturally sweetened and infused with 25 mg of CBD per tart, which is two to five times as much CBD per serving as other edibles on the market, the company said.

“Our customers have been asking for edibles and we listened,” said Sequoia Price-Lazarus, CEO and founder. “We took time to formulate the fruit tarts with 25 mg of high-quality, high-potency CBD isolate to ensure that it’s effective for all and will help people address their daily wellness needs during a very stressful time.”

Available in three flavors, strawberry lemon, raspberry lime, and orange pineapple, the fruit tarts are made with 25 mg of CBD, natural monk fruit sweetener and fruit powders. They are vegan, non-GMO and pesticide-free, and available on the Lazarus Naturals website and at select retailers.

Like every product from Portland, Ore.-based Lazarus Naturals, which was founded in 2014, the new fruit tarts are third-party tested for potency, pesticides and heavy metals, the company said. All test results are available on the website by visiting the “test results” tab on an individual product page and looking for the batch number on the packaging.
