Performance Food Group (Eby-Brown & Core-Mark)

Performance Food Group Co.’s 2021 acquisition of Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc. has created a convenience wholesale company that includes Core-Mark, as well as the Eby-Brown distribution business, which PFG acquired in March 2019.

In September 2022, PFG aligned the two c-store companies under the Core-Mark brand.

Richmond, Va.-based PFG is a foodservice distributor with a nationwide network of more than 100 distribution facilities and suppliers across the country. It markets and delivers food and related products to more than 200,000 locations.

The expanded convenience business now operates under the Core-Mark brand and will continue to be based in Westlake, Texas. Scott McPherson will continue in his role as president and CEO of Core-Mark.
