IRVING, Texas A new cup being sold for $1 at 7-Eleven promises to keep Slurpees colder for longer. The chain is rolling out the cup alongside the new Slurpee Peach Perfect flavor, which is made with real juice.

"As temperatures are rising, we're helping customers cool down with a new twist on an old favorite," said Jawad Bisbis, 7Eleven vice president of proprietary beverages. "With the release of our new stay-cold Slurpee cup and a $1 small Slurpee drink deal, along with the exclusive Peach Perfect Slurpee flavor, our customers can sip their way out of any heat wave!"

Also, for those looking to fuel up before heading to the beach, the lake or elsewhere, 7-Eleven is offering 10 bone-in wings or a whole pizza for $5—and reminding customers they can get them both delivered through the 7NOW delivery app to their home, a park or the beach via 7NOW Pins locations.

This new cold-cup promotion comes on the heels of around-the-clock breakfast taquitos announced last month and the recent milestone of 7-Eleven updating its 1,000 store to a new, elevated food and beverage platform. The new platform includes espresso, nitro cold brew, tea and bean-to-cup coffee, as well as bake-in-store cookies and pastries.

Based in Irving, Texas, 7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 72,800 stores in 17 countries, including more than 9,500 in the United States.
