IRVING, Texas — Back on the menu for a limited time at 7-Eleven: Winter Wonderland Cocoa, a hot, rich blend mixed with peppermint candy cane flavor.

In addition, customers can buy a limited-edition holiday cup at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.

“Festive green and decorated with holly leaves, these cups are made to hold the delicious Winter Wonderland cocoa or any other hot beverage, such as a mocha made with freshly ground beans and a shot of chocolate,” 7-Eleven said.

  • 7-Eleven is No. 1 on CSP’s 2022 Top 202 ranking of the largest U.S. c-store chains by number of company-owned retail outlets.

“Our Winter Wonderland Cocoa combines two tasty holiday essentials, hot cocoa and candy canes, the perfect drink to get cozy during the colder months and a great pairing for a variety of our bakery options including our candy cane cookies," said Dennis Phelps, 7-Eleven’s proprietary beverages senior product director. "We saw just how much customers loved our twist on the classic hot chocolate last year; we knew we had to bring it back.”

In addition, 7-Eleven shared a recipe for customers looking to enjoy another holiday-themed beverage: Ginger Brewed Coffee.

  • 3 pumps gingerbread syrup
  • Any hot or iced 7-Eleven coffee
  • A dash (or more than a dash) of cinnamon

For a limited time at participating 7-Eleven stores, members of the 7Rewards loyalty program who buy six cups of coffee, Big Gulp or Slurpee drinks, including the new Green Apple Slurpee flavor, will receive their seventh cup free. This offer is valid through Dec. 31, and the free cup expires 30 days from the date earned.

7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 77,700 convenience stores in 19 countries and regions, including about 13,000 in the United States, including about 9,500 under the 7-Eleven banner, around 3,800 under the Speedway banner and about 500 under the Stripes flag, as well as the Laredo Taco Company and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits brands.
