IRVING, Texas — 7-Eleven is jumping back into fall by relaunching its Pumpkin Spice Latte, which will hit participating stores on Sept. 2.

7-Eleven’s Pumpkin Spice Latte blends autumn spices such as cinnamon, ginger, anise and clove with creamy pumpkin flavoring. Customers can also customize their lattes with a variety of toppings, including 7-Eleven’s new chocolate sauce and leaf-shaped sprinkles as well as International Delight pumpkin spice creamer.

The annual special is the convenience-store retailer's most successful limited-time offering (LTO) in the hot beverage category, the company said.

"Pumpkin Spice is easily our most successful flavored hot beverage, and we didn't want to make our coffee customers wait any longer—especially in 2020,” said Jacob Barnes, senior product director for proprietary beverages for 7-Eleven. “People really need some feel-good moments right now and our rich Pumpkin Spice provides just that. With 7-Eleven's value pricing on beverages, pumpkin spice-lovers can enjoy three cups—morning, noon and night—for about the same price they'd pay for just one latte at a coffeehouse or restaurant. Add a fresh-made apple fritter to your favorite pumpkin drink for just a dollar more. That's a rich way to start any morning."

Alongside the coffee, 7-Eleven will offer pumpkin spice sandwich cookies, cream cheese filled pumpkin spice muffins, take-home, non-brewed pumpkin coffee, 7-Select pumpkin cheesecake snack pies, Gummi pumpkin candies and a Halloween chocolate bar with red caramel, dark chocolate brownie and pumpkin spice. Additionally, 7-Eleven will debut a new recipe for its apple fritters, which includes a yeast donut mix, cinnamon filling, sweet glaze and apples. The apple fritters will be available for $1 at participating locations between Sept. 2 and Nov. 3.

Based in Irving, Texas, 7–Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 71,100 7-Eleven convenience stores in 17 countries, including approximately 11,800 in North America. It is No. 1 on CSP's 2020 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by size.
