Alto-Shaam Hires Alfano

Foodservice equipment vet will serve as Northeast sales manager

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- Alto-Shaam has announced the addition of John Alfano as Northeast regional sales manager. In his new role, Alfano will be responsible for the management and development of the company's business in the northeastern United States, spanning Virginia through Maine.

Alfano brings more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice and retail industries.

Most recently, he was with BSE Marketing, Alto-Shaam's New York Metro-based representative agency. Prior to that, he ran his own firm where he worked in conjunction with Unified Brands. There, he focused his efforts in the New York Metro area with school foodservice, multi-unit, chain and contract management business segments. John began his career with Hobart as a territory sales manager, where he spent more than 10 years developing his professional skills and business relationships.
