Alto-Shaam Unveils EcoSmart Logo

New product line is energy efficient

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- Foodservice equipment manufacturer Alto-Shaam Inc. has debuted the logo for its new EcoSmart product line, the company has announced.

Alto-Shaam will be applying the term EcoSmart to a number of equipment lines that have been engineered or re-engineered to save operational costs in electrical power consumption and water usage, as well as other areas.

EcoSmart is proof of our commitment to help our customers drive down ownership costs and protect the environment with energy-efficient, eco-friendly products, [image-nocss] said company spokesperson Barb Renkas. [The products] are verifiable solutions that help you keep rising energy costs under control while minimizing environmental impact.

Product lines will include Halo Heat Cook & Hold Ovens, Halo Heat Holding Cabinets, Combitherm Combination/Oven Steamers and Alto-Shaam's new gas fryers.

Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Alto-Shaam's patented Halo Heat method is achieved with a thermostatic controlled, low-density thermal cable, wrapped throughout the walls of the cooking or holding cavity. It applies this principle of uniform heat distribution, to the greatest extent possible, in a complete line of specialty ovens and serving equipment. Alto-Shaam manufacturers Halo Heat low-temperature cooking, holding and serving equipment for convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and institutions.
