DICKINSON, N.D. — Baker Boy Inc. has updated its Magic Ring Donuts with two new filling flavors. The doughnuts now come in five flavors with the introduction of Strawberry Cream Cheese and Blueberry Jelly filled varieties.

The doughnut line also includes single-flavor Raspberry Jelly and Bavarian Creme, as well as dual-injected Chocolate & Bavarian Creme.

The baked goods manufacturer fills the prefried yeast-raised doughnuts with an exclusive pin injection system.

The products are available in 60-count cases. Retailers can purchase the doughnuts through convenience-store distributors.

“We’re very proud to be the only company making [doughnuts] like this in North America,” Baker Boy President Guy Moos said. “Immediately after the launch of our first Magic Ring Donuts, we began hearing from consumers who raved about their taste and uniqueness. But they also were quick to ask when we’d be coming out with more flavors. As the Magic Ring Donuts continue to gain momentum, we’re excited to give our customers even more options to sell into the marketplace.”

The baked items come frozen and ready to decorate. Later in 2019, the company plans to introduce fully finished Magic Ring Donuts after updating its doughnut automation system.

Baker Boy is based in Dickinson, N.D., where it makes products for foodservice, bakery, convenience-store and private-label customers.
