CSP compiles its c-store foodservice power rankings using information from Consumer Brand Metrics (CBM), a brand tracking program from Chicago-based Technomic that updates every quarter. CBM analyzes 140,000 consumer foodservice visits each year for restaurant, convenience-store and grocery brands and answers questions such as who visits top chains, why these consumers are visiting and what they think of the various brands.
