
Convenience stores east and west are running promotions for National Doughnut Day, which is Friday.
Salt Lake City-based Maverik and Kum & Go, which Maverik acquired in 2023, will offer rewards members exclusive deals available in all locations across their combined 21-state footprint.
Maverik’s Adventure Club and Kum & Go’s &Rewards members receive 50% off doughnuts all day Friday, with no limits per transaction and no cap on redemptions. Fritters are excluded from the promotion.
Maverik’s upgraded Nitro cardholders can fuel their National Doughnut Day adventures with one free doughnut (limit one per account), Maverik said.
Customers can choose from classics like chocolate and maple bars, cake doughnuts and triangle glazed doughnuts, or try the new orange cream-filled doughnut—available for a limited time only.
7-Eleven
At Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab a classic glazed doughnut for 50 cents at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes on Friday.
However, to keep the day alive, 7-Eleven is offering glazed doughnuts for $1 until June 24. In addition, Speedy Cafe locations are offering a buy one, get one free deal through June 24 on grilled Breakfast Wraps made with fluffy eggs, melted cheese and hearty protein such as sausage or bacon.

Sheetz
Sheetz, Altoona, Pennsylvania, will treat customers to one free doughnut with the purchase of any Sheetz Fountain drink, Sheetz Bros Coffee or bottled beverage. This offer is available June 6-10.
This promotion, which applies to any flavored doughnut in the bakery case, is valid at all Sheetz locations by customers adding it under the OFFERZ tab on the Sheetz app. The offer is valid while the doughnuts are available and is limited to one per customer.
Doughnuts were fourth on the list of sweet snacks sold at convenience stores in 2024, according to data from Chicago-based Circana for the 52 weeks ending on Dec. 29, 2024. Doughnuts accounted for $979.6 million in sales, down 9.7% from a year earlier. In volume, 400.1 million doughnuts were sold, down 12.6% from a year earlier. The top sweet snacks item was bakery snacks, followed by cookies second and pastry/Danish/coffee cakes third.
Fresh bread/rolls came in fifth, and muffins sixth.
