Crown Brands Acquires Tomlinson Industries

Deal expands distributor's range of commercial equipment

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. -- Crown Brands has acquired Tomlinson Industries, a manufacturer of faucets and fittings for beverage and liquid dispensing.

Crown Brands will now be able to leverage Cleveland-based Tomlinson's portfolio of countertop cooking equipment, cast-iron and thermal platters and skillets, modular dispensing systems and other products for the commercial foodservice industry.

Tomlinson Industries operates product lines under the No-Drip, Pro-Flo, Modular Dispensing Systems, Simpli-Flex, Glenray, Fusion, Marston, C-Kure and Chef’s Edge brands.

“Tomlinson’s products fit well into Crown’s range of commercial foodservice equipment and supply items,” said Tony Battaglia, CEO of Crown Brands. “This acquisition extends our ability to support our dealer, distributor, OEM and chain account customers with the highest-quality products.”

Tomlinson President Mike Figas said joining the Crown Brands family will create new growth opportunities for the organization.

Crown Brands, a distributor of smallwares and other commercial foodservice products, was founded in 2014 through the acquisition and alignment of Johnson-Rose, Co-Rect Products and Focus Foodservice. Update International joined the Lincolnshire, Ill.-based company’s portfolio in 2015.
