Eby-Brown Rolls Out Pronto Caf

New initiative brings coffeehouse look to c-stores

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Eby-Brown has introduced Pronto Caf a, a turnkey gourmet coffee program designed specifically to meet the needs of the convenience store retail channel of trade.

In partnership with Sara Lee Food Service, Eby-Brown will now provide its customers with Pronto Caf a-brand coffee, cappuccino, lattes and other hot beverages.

The Pronto Caf a brand has been designed for all Eby-Brown customers, from the multi-store chain customers to the independent stores. Along with the coffees, the program provides retailers with [image-nocss] a complete line of branding and merchandising tools including menu boards, posters and ceiling danglers.

As part of this new initiative, Eby-Brown has acquired the services of John Skorniak to take the position of hot beverage specialist. He comes to Eby-Brown with more than 25 years' experience in the coffee industry. His focus will be on all aspects of marketing and promoting the new Pronto Caf a program as well as being a consultive resource to Eby-Brown's customers on how they can substantially grow their coffee sales and profits.

Skorniak said that with Pronto Caf a, We now offer the tools to turn an everyday coffee area into the look and feel of a neighborhood coffeehouse.
