MIDDLETON, Wis. — There are three new vice presidents at Food Concepts Inc. (FCI), a designer and builder of branded merchandisers and store decor elements for the convenience-store industry.

Jake Kneebone (left) has been promoted to vice president of operations, Alex Kulis (center) to vice president of national accounts and Zach Duesler (right) to vice president of design and architectural services.

“We just keep growing, and these three key individuals have proven talent and the experience to drive FCI through this growth and will continue our track record of innovating,” said Tom Bush, president. “We are focused on exceeding the expectations of our customers with solutions that transform interior environments and boost sales.”

Duesler, a registered architect with 18 years of experience, said, “I love what we do. There is magic in transforming a hot beverage area into what looks and feels to customers like their favorite new coffee shop. Helping our clients find their ‘bullseye’ is certainly rewarding. But on top of that, continuing the excellence my father created when he started this business nearly 32 years ago is fulfilling and meaningful on a very personal level.”

Kneebone is an 11-year veteran of the company who joined FCI with a degree in construction management and a background in cabinet building. He has reorganized the Middleton, Wis.-based company’s operations and led improvements in printing, cabinet building and general assembly operations.

“I am grateful for the opportunity,” Kneebone said. “We have made great progress in the last year. It is a fun business, and our goal is to become the ‘easy button’ for our clients.”

Kulis has been with FCI since 2009, when he started as a design consultant. He has a degree and background in architecture and expertise in construction, hospitality and manufacturing, and in supporting large retailers.

“FCI is committed to the success of our customers,” Kulis said. “Were constantly learning and building solutions that benefit our national and international-sized clients. We support them from information management and manufacturing, concept design and development through installation, and provide customer service and fulfillment support.”
