IRVING, Texas — 7-Eleven will offer small Blueberry Lemonade Slurpees and sugar-free Cherry Limeade Slurpees for free on July 11 to celebrate its annual 7-Eleven Day.

The convenience-store chain will also offer fresh bakery items, hot dogs, pizza slices and other hot foods for $1. Nashville hot chicken tenders will be available for an additional $1 to 7Rewards members through the 7-Eleven mobile app. 7Rewards members who scan their information on 7-Eleven Day will also receive a second free Slurpee of any size, redeemable within 30 days.

The 7-Eleven Day promotions will begin at 11 a.m. on July 11.

"Since inventing convenience retailing in 1927, 7-Eleven has continued innovating on behalf of customers for more than 92 years," said Joe DePinto, president and CEO of 7-Eleven. "Fifty years ago, that meant introducing America to Slurpee, 7-Eleven's beloved brand. Today, our customer obsession drives digital innovation, like our 7Rewards loyalty app, scan-and-pay mobile checkout, under 30-minute delivery with the new 7Now app, and product innovations like Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, Roamer canned wine, cold-pressed juices, hot entrees and many more."

Beyond the 7-Eleven Day deals, customers who place an order on July 12 through the company’s 7Now delivery app will receive a free medium Slurpee. The 7Now delivery platform allows customers to place orders to be delivered to thousands of physical locations, even if the area is a public location or does not have a traditional address.

"7-Eleven Day has become the busiest day of the year for 7-Eleven stores as millions of both existing and new customers flock to our stores to celebrate with their favorite frozen drink and other special food deals," said Raj Kapoor, senior vice president of fresh food and proprietary beverages for 7-Eleven. "This year we hope to expand the party outside our stores as Slurpee drink lovers share photos of them and their birthday Slurpee drinks."

7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 66,000 stores in 17 countries, including about 9,100 in the United States. The chain ranked No. 1 on CSP’s 2019 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by total number of company-owned retail units.
