TULSA, OKLA. Cheddar, Parmesan, American and Monterey Jack are getting together in a new macaroni and cheese offering at QuikTrip convenience stores.

QuikTrip hopes to attract customers looking for a snack or a meal with its newest menu item made with the four cheeses. Mac and cheese will be available in two formats: from the made-fresh-to-order QT Kitchens and also as a QT Grab & Go option. Availability at QT Kitchens will vary by hours specific to each location.

Customers can also order the mac and cheese on the QT mobile app for curbside pickup.

QuikTrip’s food team developed the mac and cheese for its versatility and universal popularity. Corporate Chef Ryan Boone said he hopes customers are receptive to QuikTrip’s version of this classic comfort food.

“Mac and cheese is a wildly popular American staple for children and adults of all ages,” he said. “We wanted to put our own unique and tasty spin on it, while also offering a bit more versatility to our menu. It’s great that it can be enjoyed as a snack or an entrée.”

QuikTrip Corp., Tulsa, Okla., is No. 11 on the CSP’s 2020 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by number of retail outlets. It operates about 850 c-stores in 11 states.
