WATFORD CITY, N.D. --Convenience-store chain Holiday Stationstores' newest store in Watford City, N.D., will include a Godfather’s Pizza Express quick-service restaurant.
The nontraditional version of the 40-year-old pizza chain known for “pizza pie piled high” opens with construction of the new Holiday Stationstores convenience store.
“Holiday Stationstores has been around for a long time and are very good at what they do,” said Dave Gartlan, director of franchise development, “which is why we’re so excited to partner with them in Watford City.”
The company is a recognized leader in the convenience-store industry with 492 stores located throughout 10 states in the northern portion of the United States. The 22nd largest convenience store chain is family-owned and -operated—just like Godfather’s Pizza—making the partnership a natural fit.

The new nontraditional location will carry an extensive breakfast and lunch menu with little to no wait time with the Grab ‘n Go program. And of course, specialty pies like Taco Pie and Classic Combo that made Godfather’s Pizza famous will also be available.
Godfather’s Pizza has over 435 nontraditional stores with two nontraditional models: delivery and carryout, and express. The Holiday Stationstore in Watford City is an express location.
