SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Hot Stuff Foods President and CEO Des Hague has announced the creation of Mac's Market, a new food solutions program designed especially for smaller retail environments.
Mac's Market is the perfect option for retailers challenged by minimal labor and retail space, said Hague.
Mac's Market is a fully contained self-service merchandising unit with easy onsite heating capabilities, he added. The merchandiser takes up less than four linear feet of space and can be set up as an endcap. Currently, we've designed over a dozen items that are packaged to be attractive to the customer and that can be easily prepared without compromising the integrity of the products, Hague said.
The Grippera handheld pizza item, designed especially for hurried customers, is the hallmark of the Mac's Market program. The product, which is the only item to be displayed frozen, is merchandized as a convenient item that the customer can quickly reconstitute.
Hague said the new Mac's Market program can be implemented immediately by retailers, who can also be up and running for only $1,000. In addition, new items are already being designed to add to the options customers can get from their local Mac's Market.
