GYPSUM, Colo. -- Hunt Brothers Pizza opened its first pizza shop in Colorado over the weekend at the Stop ‘n ' Save convenience store in Gypsum. Including Colorado, Hunt Brothers is now available in 27 states at more than 6,000 locations.
“The Colorado expansion is a sign of significant growth for Hunt Brothers Pizza as a company,” said Scott Hunt, senior executive at Hunt Brothers. “We are always excited to reach new areas of the country and introduce ourselves to new customers. Saturday 's grand-opening celebration of the Stop ‘n ' Shop location included a two-hour live radio remote with KSKE and KTUN.
Nashville, Tenn.-based Hunt Brothers Pizza was established in 1962 by four brothers—Charlie, Lonnie, Jim and Don Hunt. Today, Hunt Brothers Pizza is available in more than 6,000 locations across the United States.
In 2007, Hunt Brothers introduced its signature pizza “shoppe” that allows convenience stores to prepare and bake each pizza to order. The pizza shoppe was designed to increase store appeal, build new sales, and improve ergonomics while further enhancing a store 's return on investment.
