LAFAYETTE, La. — Convenience-store quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Krispy Krunchy Chicken is now selling its proprietary chicken blend, Perfectly Cajun Seasoning & Marinade, in take-home bottles at all locations nationwide.

Created by Krispy Krunchy founder Neal Onebane, Perfectly Cajun combines the unique flavor profile and signature coloring exclusive to Krispy Krunchy in a convenient take-home package. It can be topped onto any dish or injected into meat, seafood and other foods.

Customers who purchase a bottle of Perfectly Cajun will receive a free portion of Krispy Krunchy’s new Chicken Cracklings, which launch nationwide on Aug. 15, Allison Shapiro-Dandry, director of communications and technology for Krispy Krunchy Chicken, told CSP Daily News. Customers can also order the seasoning online at the brand’s website.

“Perfectly Cajun works with scrambled eggs, chicken, steak and even Bloody Mary’s,” Shapiro-Dandry said. “It is a fun development for our brand to have a direct-to-consumer product. “We’ve developed the dry spice for about a year now and are excited about it.”

Lafayette, La.-based Krispy Krunchy Chicken has more than 2,500 locations in 46 U.S. states, American Samoa and Mexico. Last year, Krispy Krunchy added 476 branded c-store locations. Most recently, the company opened a new location inside a Go Mart c-store in Merida, Mexico. Krispy Krunchy Chicken was founded in 1989. It revamped its logo, stores and products last year in honor of its 30th anniversary.
