Krispy Krunchy Chicken Partners With Otis Spunkmeyer

Partnership brings dessert options to retailers' menu offering

LAFAYETTE, La.-- Krispy Krunchy Chicken is expanding into the dessert category by offering its convenience-store retail partners Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. The cookies will be served hot for purchase by dining guests.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken locations will offer four flavors of cookies: Chunky Chocolate Supreme, Peanut Butter, Sugar and Oatmeal Cinnamon Raisin.

“It’s exciting for us to partner with Otis Spunkmeyer to bring their delicious cookies to our locations,” said Neal Onebane, president of Krispy Krunchy Chicken. “Like Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Otis Spunkmeyer is a food brand that is associated with high-quality, fresh ingredients and taste-bud satisfaction. When we made the decision to introduce fresh cookies, it was an easy decision as to who was the perfect partner.”

Alexandria, La.-based Krispy Krunchy Foods offers a premium c-store-based QSR concept with approximately 2,300 retail locations in 41 states, as well as in Malaysia and American Samoa.
