OKLAHOMA CITY — Sticking with its plan to expand fresh food offerings in 2020, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores now offers Mediterranean cuisine through a new partnership with quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill.

Love’s first Naf Naf opened on Nov. 2 at its travel center in Greenup, Ill. The QSR offers a variety of handmade Middle Eastern food options, such as pita, chicken shawarma, hummus, falafel and more.

Love’s plans to open an additional 10 Naf Naf locations in the next five years, it said.

“Our customers love options, especially when it comes to food, so we’re excited to debut Naf Naf,” said Joe Cotton, vice president of restaurant services for Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Oklahoma City. “We want to give our customers a variety of fresh, delicious and quick options when it comes to dining and Naf Naf is the perfect fit.”

Chicago-based Naf Naf specializes in schwarma, falafel, pitas, salads and fresh-prepared sauces. The QSR operates 35 locations in Delaware, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Naf Naf was founded in 2009.

Love’s operates more than 500 locations in 41 states. It is No. 16 in CSP’s 2020 Top 202 ranking of the largest convenience-store chains in the United States.
