Minuteman Food Mart convenience stores and Reward Cups have launched new 32-ounce fountain cups—with a twist.

The cups, available at c-stores throughout North and South Carolina, have an outer label that spins to reveal special offers, games, contests and more, visible through a clear window. The program is designed to establish customer engagement, maximize loyalty enrollment and boost in-store sales, the companies said.

  • Campbell Oil Co./Minuteman Food Mart is No. 117 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

“Designing a new and exciting Minuteman cup was an incredible way to engage both our loyal guests and new guests,” said Tina May, loyalty program manager at Minuteman Food Mart. “We were able to create a fun and interactive experience while strengthening brand visibility in the market. The campaign is boosting daily engagement and positioned our brand as fresh, innovative and guest-focused.”

The cups seamlessly integrate with existing apps and loyalty programs, Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Reward cups said. The Minuteman cups feature four different offers that users can access by downloading the Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app and scanning the QR codes on the cup. One QR code takes users to a scratch and win game in the app, where loyalty members have the chance to win a five-day Bahamas cruise for two people. Users are prompted to sign up for Minuteman Food Mart Rewards if they are not already a member. Another QR code has a deal on a 1Phorm energy drink.

Spinning label designs are customizable for retailers’ brands and goals, Reward Cups said.

“Minuteman executives were quick to recognize the positive impact that Reward Cups would have on expanding membership numbers in their Minuteman Food Mart Rewards program,” said John McCrory, president of Reward Cups.

Reward Cups was founded in 2019 and developed a patented fountain cup that engages customers in convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, sports venues, entertainment facilities and more, the company said.

Minuteman Food Mart is a division of Elizabethtown, North Carolina-based Campbell Oil. It operates 64 locations.
