MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Commercial-equipment manufacturer Alto-Shaam has made its new H Series Vector Multi-Cook Ovens available for convenience stores and other foodservice providers.

The compact and ventless ovens are designed for foodservice operators with limited space, the company said. They feature an enhanced user-friendly interface, advanced controls, a sleek design and custom exterior color options. The new model incorporates Alto-Shaam’s structured air technology with four chambers in one oven. This technology allows the user to control the fan speed, cook time and temperature of each chamber at once, as well as cook a variety of items with zero flavor transfer.

“We’re constantly looking for ways to meet the needs of foodservice operators worldwide,” said Jeff McMahon, senior director of product management for Alto-Shaam. “This is only the beginning of improvements aimed to better serve our customers and align with the latest industry trends.”

The simple design and controls reduce training time for users, the company said. The ovens feature multi-step, programmable recipes to ensure menu consistency in between shift changes. Operators can upload their own images, categorize food items and filter recipes to streamline the cooking process. The ovens are also equipped with enhanced diagnostics including status updates and service details that keep foodservice operations up and running. Operators can also adjust oven light intensity and sound levels to fit the needs, look and feel of their business.

For Alto-Shaam’s c-store customers, one popular combination is pairing the H Series Vector Ovens with the company’s heated shelf merchandisers. The merchandisers are made with halo-heat technology, which provides a lower heat without added humidity or fans, leaving the food full of moisture and flavor during display in the store, the company said.

Founded in 1955, Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Alto-Shaam offers cook-and-hold ovens, connection ovens, combi ovens, chillers, warming cabinets and drawers, heated buffet and display cabinets, merchandisers, fryers and rotisseries.
