
Convenience stores are getting into the holiday spirit with food, beverage and merchandise promotions.
Pilot Co., Knoxville, Tennessee, has a limited-time Hostess Bundle. Customers can grab any size hot coffee and two single-serve Hostess snacks for $5 now through Jan. 6.
In addition, Pilot is rolling out its seasonal coffee lineup, which includes:
- Bourbon Pecan
- Campo Sur Brazilian
- White Chocolate Candy Cane Hot Chocolate
- Mocha Cold Brew
- Peppermint Mocha Creamer
“The holidays are about those small, comforting moments, like a hot cup of coffee and your favorite sweet treat on a chilly morning,” said Sean Marrero, senior vice president of food and beverage at Pilot.
Pilot also is bringing back its Holiday Gift Guide. Items include hoodies, knit beanies, socks and blankets. There also is Pilot’s annual holiday elf plush, toys from movies, bagged bourbon pecan coffee beans, limited-edition drinks and travel mugs.
There also is auto gear like a tire inflator, jump starter, dash cam and speaker, sweet and salty treats and Pilot gift cards, ornaments and more.
Stewart's Shops offers candy cane shakes, ice cream
The Candy Cane Shake is back at the ice cream cone counter at Ballston Spa, New York-based Stewart’s Shops.
This shake, available for a limited time, is made with Peppermint Stick Ice Cream—also back for the holidays—whipped cream and peppermint sugar sprinkles.
This peppermint flavored ice cream with red and green crushed mint candies is available now in half gallons for a limited time.
Peppermint Stick Ice Cream is one of several holiday offerings at Stewart’s Shops. There’s also Carmine’s Holiday Spumoni and Eggnog Ice Cream.
Weigel's brings back eggnog
Eggnog is back at Powell, Tennessee-based Weigel’s. The beverage is “a rich and creamy holiday classic made right here in East Tennessee and bottled fresh for our guests,” the company said. The beverage is available now through the end of the year at all Weigel’s locations in pint, quart and half-gallon sizes.
“Eggnog season is special in East Tennessee—it’s pure nostalgia in a bottle,” said Doug Yawberry, CEO & President of Weigel’s. “We’ve been making this holiday favorite for generations, and our commitment to freshness and quality means every bottle is made locally and delivered quickly to our stores. Royal Farms delivers all-day deals
Baltimore-based Royal Farms also is offering limited-time holiday deals.
There’s a two for $6 all-day deal (4 a.m. to 8 p.m.) on warmer options, a $10 Chicken Box Combo, which features four mixed pieces of chicken with fries and a baked biscuit.
There’s also two family chicken deals for $15: the eight-piece Mixed Chicken Deal and the 10-Piece Dark Meat Chicken Deal.
“From all-day warmer specials to shareable chicken meals, customers can savor more flavor and value throughout the holidays,” the company said.
QuickChek promotes 24 Days of Deals
Beginning Dec. 1, Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based QuickChek’s QC Rewards members will receive an exclusive offer every day through Dec. 24 as part of the convenience-store chain’s 24 Days of Deals. This inaugural promotion features free and discounted menu favorites like breakfast burritos, sandwiches, soups, New York Giants subs and more.
Yesway, Allsup's reveal daily holiday treats
From Dec. 13 to 24, Yesway and Allsup’s are offering 12 Happy HoliDAYs deals. Rewards members who make qualifying purchases can unwrap a new daily freebie. These include:
- Free Oh Snap! Pickle with Yesway Chips
- Free Cookie Dough Bites with a Ben & Jerry’s pint
